SCOOT Mobile Game

SCOOT is a mixed reality game that employs web, mobile devices and public displays as tools of play to guide groups through unique public places. Simply, players must seek out interactive console games that are hidden in a public place. Along the way they participate in activities and solve clues by seeking out facts about the sites. A Carnival narrative frames SCOOT. Dodgy carnival characters are infiltrating our world and players must band together with the S’avatars from SCOOT world to beat the Dodgy carnies at their own games and stop the invasion.

The Newish Media team has been commissioned to design and implement five iterations of SCOOT for festivals, cultural institutions and educational organisations across Australia.
